 Subject: blocks or add a leaf?

hi i wanted to raise my rear end on my 99 dak. 5.2 4x4. and i could not find any blocks. but i did find add a leafs. do i have to buy new u bolts for add a leafs? what do you guys think is better anyway? blocks or leafs thanks for all help.

Compare the thickness of the leaf with the length of U-bolt past the nuts. If you can insert a leaf and still have at least a couple or three threads past the nuts, then, no.
Add-a-leaf will give better handling than blocks. Blocks change the distance btween spring pack and axle tubes, which will increase spring wrap.
