Subject: Front End Sag IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2004 QC 4x4. Looks like the front is sagging. (I just bought it) I have heard about cranking torsion bars but I have heard it can compromise the way your truck rides? Is there a way you can get the front end not to sag without ruining the ride?

Message: Cranking the bars does not always "ruin the ride" you can crank them Just enough to get the sag out and probably not notice any difference,on the other hand there are plenty of us who have cranked em up and not had any problems at all,i believe Kowalski has been running on cranked bars for many years and i could be wrong but i dont believe he has had any adverse affects, but i dont know of any other way to get the front end up.

Message: Yup, mine have been cranked for almost 2" extra height for 7 years now, and no adverse effcts. Expect a little harsher ride if you go that far; I just expect my truck to feel and work like a truck.

Message: Who told you that ? There is a bolt towards the rear of each bar that adjusts how much twist it has - that's the adjustment.
