I have an 05 Quad Cab V8....and I want to lift it....it looks like a 3inch body lift is what im gonna go with, my question is ....about how big of a tire can i put on this Dakota with a 3inch body lift? .....stock 05 dakotas sit at about 6 feet , and id like to get this as close to 7 feet as possible, so with a 3 inch lift, what y'all think?

33" or 285/75 or 305/70 should fit with the 3" BL...maybe need to crank the torsion bars an inch.

The new Dakotas don't have torsion bars do they?
I think they have coilovers.
Even if they do you probably won't be able to fit anything bigger than a 32x11.50. New Daks also have smaller fenderwell openings than 3rd gens

05 and up Dakotas do not have torsion bar suspension. 4x4 and 2x4 are coil over shock.

Didn't think they had torsion bars but wasn't sure. I'm sticking with the recomendation i made before 32x11.50.
