Should answer most of your lift questions...looks pretty badass, too. By the way, Tall Quad, your truck is the wallpaper du jour on my computer!!!! Should be close to what mine looks like when body lift and XTerrains on get put on...cept mine is bright silver and I'll have the stock 16x8 wheels. I would love to see how you did your front bumper and wheel wells. I live in Mesa, maybe we could hook up sometime before I start on my body lift and you could give me some tips!!!! Trade for beer!!!!!

Sounds like a plan bjlindsey. I'll be gone this weekend in Rancho Cucamonga and Santa Monica, CA... so I'll give you and JJCOLE from Chandler a ring when I get back and maybe we can all hook up for drinks!

I actually got the Fabtech lift from jcwhitney too. I think I spent $930 for both kits shipped to my door! I installed both by-myself (and a little help from a friend)so there were no other costs. Add tires ($1200) and you got a complete setup for around 2200 bones! Not bad for a good aggressive look on a 2wd.

Guys, Met up with TallQuad last night...truck look sweet and the cutting is well worth the result. He made a good point...if you've got the cajonies to do the lift...what's the big deal with cutting a little plastic?

Yeah bjlindsey, I guess we'll have to go drinkin' AGAIN so you can join in this time!! hehe... JJCOLE's truck looks sweet with the lift and will look even better after the wheels are put on! Damn truck is as tall as mine!! Oh-well... it's hard to compete with you 4x4 guys. :-P
JJCOLE is a cool guy and hopefully we can get bjlindsey a few more people out for an evening or weekend!

ummm.. I'm to the point where I don't know how to do the rest..
The "profesional installer" couldn't get it to the point I have. I'm going to let the real pros do my brakes, Torsion bars, anti-sway bar, and my alignment.
The only thing I could do is finish the drop down for the rear leafs and I don't have a grinder to do that @ their shop. I'll just let them do it .. all of like 30 minutes tops.

Let's just say I had to do a little more grinding than I thought.
The night before I did some conservative plastic trimming based on your pics and seeing your (TallQuads) ride. When I picked up the tires, I did a little more, but was rubbing bad on the rear wheel wells. So I trimmed a little more plastic but it was rubbing on metal...so I limped her home and picked up a grinder from Lowes on the way...then I got down to business!
I took it way back! I didn't get to finish last night, but it's much better. This afternoon, I'm gonna finish up the grinding and tighten up the torsion bars a little and HOPEFULLY I should be good to go.
I'm grinn'n ear to ear with the way it looks! Just gotta finish her up and make it driveable.
I'll keep ya posted and eventually post pics.
