Subject: 04 Quad AWD Suspension lift?
IP: Logged

Message:
Hey guys, I have been searching for a 3-6 inch suspension lift for my 2004 Quad Cab. The trouble is I have the AWD, or full-time transfer case and don't know if the same kits fit as for the RWD. I hear alot of the Rancho here but that the 04 models have a different front end with the steering rack and brake size. Any thoughts on lift options? Thanks!

You can use a 00-02 lift if you use 00-02 front brakes. Otherwise the front end is the same from 00-04.

And the awd won't make any difference to the parts of the lift fitting in place, awd is essentially 4wd that you cant do a burnout with.

Thanks for the info Kota Kid and charlie b. I was wondering, it it a clearance issue with the rotors or calipers of the larger brakes interfering with the suspension kit? I was actually thinking of upgrading the fronts to a set of SSBC or Power Slot. Although SSBC doesn't make kits beyond 2002 model year. Charlie B, was your kit the Rancho? I wouldn't mind checking it out of you have the part #. Thanks.
