I currently have a 2003 dodge dakota crew cab 4x4
all is stock, I do have the optional tire size the (265/70R/16)
I want new tires, and I was wondering if anyone knew the max size I could put on it right now. ?
And also soon into the future I would like to lift it up a bit, was wondering if a 3" suspension and 3" body would be a good idea... ?
If anyone has tweaked one of these out let me know would like to hear more bout your truck,

With stock ride height the biggest tire you can fit with no rubbing will be a 32in not sure of metric size.
Lifts are always a good idea the 3in Rancho suspension lift i have on my 99 318 4x4 works very nice with 33x12.50-15!

The lifts for the 2000 and up Dakotas are different because they got rid of the steering box in favor of a rack. Appearantly the 2003 and 2004 Dakotas have bigger front brakes which makes the 2000-2002 kits not work. Some have swapped the front brakes from the 2002's to make them work though. I have no idea why the bigger brakes prevent the use of the kits. Does anyone else know why the bigger brakes keep the 2002 kit from working? I would guess that you would only have to swap rotors and the carriers.
