Message: You can do it with stock gears but you will have no power! You will need at least 4.56s, 4.88s would be even better for the 3.9 if you could find them. I think you can only get 4.88s for the 9.25 rear end not the 8.25 you probably have behind the 3.9. 4.56s should be enough to get it back close to the way it feels stock, maybee only a little slower.
