 Subject: Body Lift transfer case shifter

I just installed a PA body lift on my 97 4x4 and I didnt do anything with the 4x4 shifter. Can I just add a threaded rod and collar on the top or do I have to bend it or something also?

Thats exactly what i did,the only thing you have to do is make sure you dont have it too long or it will hit the underside of your dash,but it wont require any bends,mine clears the underside of my dash by about a quarter inch and it works fine with a threaded rod and a collar.
