Message: I am not a mechanic nor do I have any front end knowledge so I ask those of you who do.
Can I use 4x4 spindles on a 2wd truck? I want to raise my front end but cannot find any spindles for a 2wd.

Message: No, different setup all together. The 4x4 knuckles don't have a spindle, it's a hub / bearing assembly that requires the CV axle's outer stub shaft & nut for support. A buddy of mine broke a CV axle while on a long road trip. In a rest stop, he pulled the CV axle and left the hub spinning free. Didn't make it another 50 miles before the bearing came apart and he lost the wheel.
