Subject: body+ suspension lift IP: Logged
Message: I put on a 2" bl this summer, and was running some 33" BFGs. i have my winter tires on now, stock 31s, and it looks a little goofy with the lift, but i was planning on putting a 2.5" suspension lift on this spring when i go for new tires. how will she look with a total of 4.5 inches and 33s? should i go with 35s? the reason i ask is even with 33s my torque is kinda shot and i dont want to regear because i also do a lot of highway driving. opinions? past experience? thanks

Message: I dont think you can do 35s without re-gearing,if your truck is an automatic you might find with 35s it will keep downshifting alot,i went from 30s to 32s and lost the use of 5th gear with my manual 5 speed,i had to re-gear not to mention the 33s on your truck leave more room for articulation than 35s,mine has 3" body lift and 4" suspension and i wouldnt try and stuff a bigger tire in the hole, but if you dont offroad then articulation doesnt mean much but i wouldnt do 35s,lets see what others say.
