Anyone with 35's on? What lift are you running to clear em? How much clearance to wheelwells? Rim and backspacing? Just looking for any experience or suggestions, short of mounting one up and test fitting it at different heights of lift. I currently have 305/70-16 (33x12.5-16) with a 4.5" TS suspension lift, a 1 inch block has been added in the rear and no more than 1/2" on torsion bars, if any. I am thinking 1-1.5" on torsion bars and switching out the rear block to a 2-3", with maybe 1" or so of trimming in the inner wheelwell plastic and they should fit. TIA for any help.

Quite a bit of cutting was involved, but not the nightmare most made it out to be. I think most were just a little too inexperienced with automotive mechanics to overcome some of the simple issues with it. And it was pretty much the first and only lift at the time it was released. I want to say it has been on the vehicle since '00 or '01. Mainly only driven on the street and has both the anti-swaybars connected. It handles great and is wonderful for a daily driver imo. Not sure on all the details of the install as I only helped my father a bit with it (he ordered the truck new). He moved on last year to an Avalanche, which was sitting 6" up on 35's with only a few hundered miles on it. That I fully helped on. (before I get flamed, I am 29, not some little kid) As for the cost, I am not certain, but that sounds about right.

'00 Copper CC, 4.7L auto, 3.92's, Gibson headers & exhaust, Superchips programer, Air Raid intake/filter, Slotted rotors, full Mobil synthetics throughout, 4.5" TS lift, 305/70-16 MT Claws

Sweet truck dude!
I was wondering i have a 99 rc/sb 4x4 with the 3 in Rancho lift on it. I am planning on adding a 3in body lift on top of it, but might need new tires before i can get to it i am going to be stepping up from 33s to 35s. I am curious how much tire rub you get at the backs of the front fender openings with 35s.
I plan on getting 35x10.50-15 Swamper Boggers (if i can afford the $200 a piece sticker shock).

Guess I am getting a little slow ... No 35's yet, I had 2 sets of 33's to burn off. Just starting on the half tread Swampers atm. Not really sure the true height of those 35's on that silver one w/ 3" body and tb crank. As I stated I have 4.5" suspension w/ possibly a little tb crank ... around 5" total and new 305/70-16 MT claws just rub on full travel (front and back of wheelwell depending on direction the wheel is turned). So, 315/75-16 Claws (35x12.5-16) would never go without a bit more help.
Any more links or thoughts on this welcome.
