 Subject: Axle Swap and the Odometer

I swapped a Dana 60 into the rear of my 98 Dakota and now my odometer doesn't work. The stock odo had a pickup on the ring gear. Has any one done this or a similar type swap and got the odo working? I am open to anything.

I'll bet that would be a tough retro fit - how about some kind of GPS to tell your speed ?
