Subject: Rancho Lift IP: Logged
Message: I’ve been wanting to do a Rancho 3" suspension lift to my 2001 Dak. CC 4X4. I finally saw one in person and measured the lowest part of his frame, bottom of skid plate to transfer case. It was only 1 1/4" higher than mine (9 1/2 mine to 10 3/4 his) and I attribute most of that to his 33" tires compared to my 31" tires. Any one who has this setup - would you be willing to measure yours and let me know your clearance please?

Message: So I'd be better off "cheaper" to just get the body lift to fit the tires for the clearence.

Message: Probably, depends on what you want. Most guys lift these trucks with a body lift because of cost vs the only reliable suspension lift available (Rancho). I just don't like how body lifts look, and I wanted to upgrade my whole suspension.
