Message: im doing a 3inch lift also on my 99... what all was included in your kit.... ive been seeing all these different kits online here and some say they come with brake lines and steering column adapters and bumper brackets for the front and radiator hoses..... others say they come with just bumper brackets.... this is my first body lift ive ever done so im really not sure how smooth its gonna go... for tire size im doing it to add more clearance for 20's that im getting sometime by fall.... so you should be able to fit atleast 33 inch mudders (aka flowtation devices)

Message: my pa kit comes w/ bumper brackets and steering shaft extension, it says in the instructions that brake lines should stretch enough to work. it also talks about cutting the radiator shroud so that it can still fit and use the same hoses. but i have read about guys on here that say they had to pick up different hoses. my instructions say that the factory ones stay the same and you don't need to change them, but i'm not sure. i know the kit didn't come w/ any. from what i've read on this site, the pa lift is probably one of the best. it was about $350.00 w/ gap gaurds and shipping. ther other thing i'm wondering is if i do the 2" torsion bar raise in the front how do i raise the ass end so the truck still sits level?

Message: ok so your raiseing your truck a total of 5 inchs.... if ya do a 2 inch torsion bar lift then you'll have to add 2inch blocks on the rear end where the leaf springs sit, or get a set of 2 inch lift leaf springs or also have your factory ones re-rached or have a leaf added.... those some ideas of where you can do whats needed to lift the rear...
im still debating on wether to do the body lift or not.... my truck is only 2wd but i want the extra clearance for my wheels.... so most likely im gonna end up doing it....

Message: i'd do it, right now with my stock hight and tires i can drive through fairly deep snow or mud without engaging the 4wd. if you had a 2wd w/ some good tires it's a pretty decent off road vehicle. just pack a tow strap and a come-a-long so you don't get stuck 15 miles up a logging road in the snow by yourself.(i managed this even w/ 4wd) probably would still be there if i didn't have sand bags, a shovel, and a friend with me

Message: actually, never mind, you want to fit 20's on your truck so it'll probly never even see a gravel road after that. my friend has 20's on his cherokee, so i have to drive us hunting

Message: Since you have a shop and a buddy that's already done this...I'm thinking maybe around 5hrs if you haul ass...taking some time maybe 7hrs. I did it by myself in my driveway for the very first time in about 10hrs. So previous knowledge and the right tools will probably cut you guys in half. I love my BL on my '00. Wish I wouldn't have bought my 32's before I got the lift.

Message: so i have an 02 cc sport 4x4, im thinkin about doin a 3 inch BL with 33x12.50 BFG mud terrains..does anyone know if these will fit without rubbing? would i have to trim my fenders? would 4 inches be a better buy? and do you think my 3.9 has enough power to get the truck moving afterwards?!
