Subject: 95 2WD Lift Avail IP: Logged
Message: Just inherited an older Dakota that's in great shape. It's completely stock and I'd like to put bigger tires and a body lift on it for looks but, can't seem to find anyone that's still making a lift kit for it. I can find gear for a 4WD but not a 2WD. Any suggests????

Message: Hey thanks for the replies.....I think that one could get neoprene blocks and adequate bolts for a lift easily enough. I've since seem to have learned that apparently the reasoning for a lack of kits is the rack and pinon steering and linkage on early model 2WDs. I've basically come to the conclusion that it will be too much of a pain and cost to do something custom.
