Message: I'm planning on cranking the torsion bars to level out the truck. The problem is, I don't know how to. =P
Anyone care to explain to me a bit? I've never done it before/never seen it done.

Message: Here's how to find the torsion rods.
First, you gotta have a 4x4. Otherwise there are none.
Find your lower control arms. Control arms are the moving parts of the front suspension that the shock absorber and sway bar are attached to. Extending to the rear from the control arms is a rod about 4 feet long and just a hair over an inch in diameter. That's the torsion rod. The rear-most end of the rod is in a socket of the torsion rod anchor. Those anchors are also referred to as keys, or porkchops (because of their shape). The torsion rod anchors are also the adjusters. Take a real good look at the anchor, and you'll notice a big bolt going up through the part that extends toward the center of the vehicle. That's the adjusting bolt. Regardless of which side you're working on, clockwise rotation of the bolt head will raise the vehicle and counterclockwise rotation will lower it.
Here is an excellent explanation of torsion bars, how they work, some common misconceptions, and some other good info. It's GM-based, but the principles of operation are the same regardless of the application.
