Message: Suspension enhances your "offroadability" Better flex and better ride also will let you fit bigger and better shocks to enhance the ride even more, All a bodylift will do is raise the truck to clear larger tires or just a better "street" look. The body lift can have problems with your emergancy brake and spare tire crank (the rear bumper needs a custom made bracket) but these are only minor problems that can be avoided or just let them be the way they are. Myself my emergancy brake is never used and i have my spare in the bed instead of under the truck... I also own a Gen 2 CC and plan on doing both. First because of cost i'd do the body lift first(cheap and not to big yet) You could also crank the torsion bars and add shackles/blocks/ or add-a-leafs. You'll only get a safe amount of 2-3" lift on the front without making the parts on your front-end wear out to much. That's about all i know the difference is. I'm sure there's more.
Too bad there isn't a bigger market for are GEN 2's!
Here's my truck
