Ok I put on my BL about 5-6 months ago. After I did that though I cant get my truck out of 4wd. Sometimes I can't even shift it into 4wd. I had it extended and even went to the dealer to buy a brand new one and it came extended so I know it was not because the linkage was welded back together at a weird angle...the only thing I cant think of is that the body shifted just enough that it doesn't line up perfectly? Any thoughts would be great! I just got my truck to base a few weeks ago and I would like to use my 4wd with out me goin underneath the truck to shift it. Thanks...

You should try to cut the sheet metal around the shifter, I've never done it but read it on this site more than once, Just alittle trimming should do the trick. Either that or theirs not alot of fluid in your t-case.

There's no problem shifting into it...its when I try to shift out of it, the linkage binds up and moves around. If I get underneath and push into the linkage it'll shift out..that's why I was wondering if somehow my body was shifted just enough to wear the alignment wasn't right.
