you are already higher than a stock 4x4, not by much though, now i see why you can fit the 31s, do your rims have close to stock backspacing?
oh, here is some cheap fun for ya, going to the junk yard after it just rained
WHOOOOOOO!
i was having some fun in some fairly deep sand, the Dualer ATs worked pretty damn good, although when it come to turning all 4 wheels in the think sand clay crap the engine bogged a little in 4hi in drive, so i stuck it in 1 and it went good, maybe i need some new gears

Yeah, I made it OK. Got Michigan with only loosing our boat cover. Shreaded for some reason, maybe the 75mph on I 75 had something to do with it.
I figure that my 2wd truck is roughly 2 in taller than a stock 4x4. They are 3in taller stock than us 2wder. So the 3in body equalled out and the 2in susp lift put me up. I hope someone comes out soon with a 3in lift spindle.

How yall do'en? Im a o k. Just wanted to post on this one again. But man, going through all 6 pages to get here is a b!tch.
I gotta tell yall about this. I went to the St. Ignas, Michigan car show yesterday. I was bad azz. There were all kinds of 60s cameros, chevells, road runners, dusters, jeeps, Willys, firebirds. It was great. I went to the dodge area and they had the New M80 truck there. I was neet. And the new Dually HD Ram w/ a hemi! And a 2 seater called the Razor. Chevy had their set up with the new Bel Air cont, Caddys 450 Hp roadster, Poniacs Solstice, a Hummer H3, pimped out Alero, Malibu, vettes. I was so great. Oh, and the Dodge Girls were very intresting!!! Damn they were fine! But if you ever get a chance to go, take it. I was great! I got 2 rolls of film to get done. Talk to yall later.

Egad does changing a waterpump gasket SUCK, 8 hours into it, like 3 cuz somone (little brother) kicked the bolt arangment so i had to put it all back almsot together to figure out what goes where, damn kids, but i jsut need to put on fan (i know you will tell me i should have done the electric while im at it) and tighten all the belts, the pump almost fell off so the seal was no good and was leaking,

but anyway, HAVE SOMONE DO IT IF YOU ARE ABLE TO SPEND MORE THAN $3

I changed mine with my automotive-minded brother last Thanksgiving. Took about 3 hours. Yes the bolts should be numbered or something, because its like a maze to get them back in at the proper order!

do you have air?

i did it by myself, with once and a while asking my dad to hold something or give me an extra hand to work with

but, all by myself, and my bolts werent numbered, and the book said nothing of numbered bolts, anyway, i did alot of dinking though, took my time, and put it all back together without the gasket to i knew how to put it back together when i did have the sealer on so i didnt fuxor it up and have to take it apart again

oh well

it was a pain int he a$$ with the 90 degree temps and 70% humididty and such

Mine was leaking coolant fluid through the bearings. Why did you replace yours? How much did it cost you? Mine was about $50 new. I dont think we installed any gaskets - just used the gasket sealant. My brother is good at that stuff.

i only replaced the gasket cuz mine was leaking pretty bad last week, it kept getting worse and worse, started out as a drip or two here and there. It then became a small puddle, the a large puddle. Npow it has been reduced to NOTHING, the only place it could possibly be leaking now it from the engine block, if thats the case im f@#ked. But the water pump itself almsot fell off cuz the gasket was falling apart, you didnt put in a gasket? a gasket was $3 at napa, you prolly should have put one in, as well as the gasket sealer. Gasket sealer but no gasket? oh well, it prolly dont matter as long as its sealed, the seven water pump bolts are in and tourqued to 30 ft/lbs as specified in my Haynes book, but it was a project none the less. I didnt get a whole new water pump though, just replaced the gasket

no more leaks!
it better not, water pump gasket, new radiator, new thermostat gasket with so heavy duty gasket sealer cuz it was coroaded so bad, and a few new hoses here and there, theres no place left for it to be leaking

and if it does *shakes fist at it*

I have a friend who is a mechanic. He is an honest guy and a hell of a car builder. He drags a Chevelle. With a Chevy 350 that puts out about 900 HP with no nitrus. He played with NO2 for a while but with over 1000HP, he couldnt keep the tires on the pavement. Anyways, he told me while working on my truck that he never uses gasket sealant. He said it causes over time weaknesses in the gasket which leads to leakage. So everything he has done for me has no sealant. And no problems yet. Just a thought.
Super Bee. I know what your temp. problem is like. Right now here in FLA its like mid 90s and humidity is 90s%. Misquitos fly you off and are vicious. No truck worken for me right now. Too damn uncomfortable~! Have a good one guys.

Hey guys. I have some good news. A guy named Big O has a group buy going on custom face gauges for Dakotas 87-96. There are lots of options like background color, number color, graphics ( flames, fl;ags, etc), and logos. You can also have the indiglo light up the background so the numbers are dark or you can have the numbers light up and the background dark. Each person chooses their own look. Any how, they look sweet and anyone in this deal will truely have a custom dash. This company called www.speedhut.com is the company and we need 20 orders to get them. 3 people have already ordered, I am soon. So we need you guys to get in. Thanks.

Most people I know just use the gasket sealant stuff. Works great. In fact, you can do that with valve covers and a lot of other things, too.
