Figured people on this board are the best people to ask so... Regarding a body lift. I was told that I would probably need a transmission spacer? Can somene explain more about this to me?? Cost? Reason, etc??

If you were talking jeeps I could see someone talking about spacers to lower the transfer case when installing a suspension lift. But we're talking body lifts which have nothing to do with the driveline. No tranny spacers here.

I agree with Moser and Bucket, Whoever told you this is talking about possible the shift linkage or maybe an extension for your transfer case lever, It all depends on what year, model, and size of lift.
