ok so i got my 6.5 lift and came with everything and directions, didnt think it would from what everyone has said, they made 1 piece out of two on some things but nothin a little quick figurin out wouldnt help, got my 35X10.50 SSR's and 4.56's and gona start to put it on prolly fri and gona take pics and keep ya'll posted...granted it is Truckin suspension, but hopefully the bugs r worked out by now and see how it goes. Also gota take it bout an hr away and get the driveshafts little bit longer then gota get it goin stright but pics will b up and should b on the road next week or the week after.

ID 4x4, you always calling somebody else a street queen, what u got, is it lifted, if it is, what size tires, do u ever leave the road, if so i aint seen no pictures, post pictures, i think you got a little focus car or something, prove me wrong, but i think you are a street queen with a stock ass vehicle and dont know nothing bout fourwheeling just want to try and get stuff started.

Soldier don't even try with ID me and had it goin back and forth for awhile and agreed to disagree... though one point on this part of the forum... "Raised Dakotas" not "Offroad Dakotas" so yes we both talk about offroading but wouldn't the offroad side be more of a use to u ID?, instead of being on the "raised side"?

Raise or lower for a look, not really functionality. Buy a non functional hood scoop and plant a huge wing on your Dak. Fine by me, buy a lift that is a consensus piece of crap, go for it! And, yet still, you piss about my right to have an opinion.

ok well sorry 2 cause a rucus but got the truck on the lift and started to take the front end out and my pot luck gota get a new rack and pinion but thats only $205, kind of a slap n the face after spendin $3800 on lift tires and gears but nothin too much it'll b here n the mornin and should start to put the lift on either n the afternoon or sometime wed....and hell yeah its gona b a road queen 4 a while, after $5000 i'm gona make sure everything is workin good and get everything tight so hell yeah she aint gona see the mud for a little while, it will eventually but hell cant afford to go right away

So, who has a suspension lift? Wants to wheel hardcore? Why am I on a raised Dakota board with peeeps who have a body lift at best? Hell, most of you frying me are STOCK. Paul, I told you before, anytime, any place.

Everybodies different,but we all like Dakotas.I bought my truck for one purpose and one purpose only "prospecting" and i only drive it 4 times a year, but when i do, i need it to do the job and thats what i built it to do.Get me into the hills and get me home!! and i dont give a damm how anybody thinks it looks,all you guys got pretty cool looking rigs,soldier boy i talked to you before and your truck is hot,Justin i checked out your rig and even though you make more changes to it than houdini it looks great,so think positive guys you could wake up tomorrow to find out its all a dream and we really all drive "Toyotas".......NAAAAA.Good luck with your project Shockley I hope it comes out great!!!

damn boys simmer down some :) ok so got the front end out of the truck and gota few pieces on and fit great then went to put the steerin crossmember in and dont fit a lick but made a quick call and gettin the right piece sent over nite for free, hell cant beat that, just 1 little set back but nothin major, should b able to get back to work on it thurs and take it from there

Hey bucket i appreciate man, now ID 4x4 yea i just have a body lift, my truck is a 2001 and i aint paying 1300 for just 3" of lift, as for hardcore offroading man, haha, i bet i can put my truck in 2wd and go through what you go through in 4x4. You dont have to have a huge suspension lift to get the job done, just do it right with what you got, and since somepeople probably wonder what i got here is the link, now ID 4x4 im still waiting to see this Bad A$$ truck you got.Im calling you out buddy.

Well soldier boy, I am as shown. I live in Boise, Idaho, feel free to run with me. A Rancho 3" lift isn't much, but, better than stock with a body lift! My new gears were expensive, but well worth it. So as far as I am concerned, put up or shut up!!!!!!!! you either have the mods or you takk crap!

In the right lane theirs ID 4x4 basically stock with a rancho lift and 456 gear, in the left lane theirs Soldier Boy with 2" sus. and 3" body and 34" tires and ahead of them both is a rock pile and after that a large mud hole... can u figure out the rest???
