Message: How the hell do i get the linkage out of the brackets. the brackets have little pieces of rubber through them where the end of the piece of linkage goes, and i can't get it out. i did a 2" body lift so i need to add on the extension piece to the linkage so i can engage my gears. But like i said i need to get the linkage out of the brackets so i can cut and weld the extension piece. Do i need a special tool?

Message: i had the same problem. i just heated the rubber up with a torch and pulled them out. it was just enough to not melt the rubber and i didnt put the extension on mine i just bent the linkage straight. it seems to be working fine.
