Message: Has anyone had a problem with their linkage after installing a bodylift? I can put it into 4hi but once I do it wont come out unless I get under my truck and shift if myself. I can go through nuetral and 4 low just fine but 4hi refuses to work with me? Any ideas on what I can do. I have a brand new linkage and I can adjust for the height way beyond what is needed so I know the length isn't the issue.

Message: My linkage twists anytime I try to shift out of 4hi. It's a little harder to put it into 4hi then the rest of the gears but once i'm in 4hi it refuses to come out. The linkage just twists and the shifter will move up but it's still in 4hi. The linkage just twisted enough to allow it to move.

Message: Is the problem 4hi or 4 low? I have to be in neutral and not moving to engage or disengage from 4low. 2 hi to 4 hi I just pull or push the shifter very easy and it shifts at any speed at any rpm, as long as you aren't accelerating.

Message: This is when I'm not moving at all. My truck can be on or off it doesn't matter. It has to be an alignment issue but I haven't heard of it and I was hoping someone had previously had this problem and found a way to fix it. No problems shifting from 2hi thru 4lo but as soon as I put it in 4hi it wont come out. Not a matter of transfer case not wanting to shift cuz I can get underneath my truck and shift it.
