Subject: Where do tires rub IP: Logged
Message: If i put big tires on where do you guys mean that the tires will rub. On the bumper or at the back of the tire? Its a 2001 4x4 four doors.

Message: Frame, bumper,and depending on your size and brand. Mine are trxus AT 33x12.5x15. They rub the frame and i had to do no trimming, i have the 3in b-lift though, you get used to the rubbing, its not that bad.

Typically it's the inside edge of the tire tread that rubs on the frame. You can use wheels with different offset (or backspacing) to move the tires outboard a bit and try to eliminate it, but those changes might then caues the outside edge of the tire tread to start rubbing on the bottom of the fenderwell and/or bumper.
