Subject: Lift kit vs engine size

Message:
I am interested in a lift kit that is on sale from another user on this site. It is a used Fabtech suspension lift 3" along with a body lift. Anyhow I noticed from the pictures of his truck that it is a V6. My question is if it matters that I have at V8 in my 99 versus his 98 V6. Thanks in advance.

oh yeah...both trucks are 2wd

yes , if you go to fabtech's website , it will list different part numbers for v6 and v8 . I know of someone who put v8 springs on a v6 , but not backward . You probably wont get the same tallness as the v8 spring , but it may ride better and closer to the stock ride , not as stiff . I have a quad v8 and to me it rides nice better than other lifted trucks , fords , chevys .............
