I own a 94 Dakota 4x4 extended cab with the 5.2!
I would like to install a 3" body lift on this truck but can only seem to find a 2"!any help from anyone with knowledge about this year truck /bodylift would sure be great!!
thanks in advance!!
I did do some checking on other posts but when I checked there was 5098 posts on the topic of body lifts I checked quite a few but did not see anything about my year truck??

I also got a 94 4x4 x-cab v-8 and i got my body lift from truck performance.com.heres some pics with just the three inch body lift,next month comes the suspension Lift .http://www.cardomain.com/ride/857674/1

Bucket, went to Truck Performance.com put in 1994 dodge dakota and the only body lift kit that came up for me was again , the 2"?Help I need a body lift in 3" , suppose I could make one but most body lifts are so cheap I don't know if I could make them any cheaper but then I would have a 3" for a 94 dakota extended cab in 4x4 with v8!
any other helpful hints!!??THANKS-

Well i gotta tell ya theres alot of things i wanted for my truck that truck performance.com didnt have listed,i wanted dual shock brackets front and rear and i was getting pretty frustrated and couldnt find them anywhere but once i got the part numbers from Walt,I called truck performance and they ordered them for me so if you call them and tell em you want the Trailmaster 3" body lift they should be able to get it for you,i ordered mine about 4 mo ago and they had it listed then.So try 1-800-719-8100 and tell them you want something they dont have listed and you want them to locate and order it for you,see what happens

Bucket, just got off the phone with truck performance at 1-800-719-8100! was told trailmaster does not make a body lift for the dodge dakota they only make the suspension lift and that is in 4" and not 3" which I already know and that is the reason for the body lift as suspension lift is to pricy for the 1/8" metal that you get for the big $$$$.$$ for the 94 dodge dakota,extended cab with 4x4 and v8!
so back to square one!!
anyone else got any more helpful hints??
I know there out there as I see them but they must rig up something that is intended for another truck or something homemade??
any help??

Zeke I just got off the phone with Matt at truck performance.com and your right he said they must have discontinued the 3"shortly after i got mine but i wouldnt give up that easy, someone somewhere still has to have a kit in stock,heres two other options Try Carolina Classics you can find them online and i know they used to carry them,or you can call Trailmaster direct at (928) 636-3175 to try and find out what the hell is going on.Someone somewhere has to have a kit leftover even if discontinued.Let me know what you find out.

BUCKET,
Just got off the phone with Trailmaster who is now owned by performance acc.#9340 is correct for the 3"b.l. for the 94 dakota!BUT 1 PROBLEM THEY DISCONTINUED IT!!NOW THEY ONLY HAVE THE 2"(642X)!They told me to call Rocky Mountain Suspension they might have it they did not but were very friendly & helpful!THIS IS NOT GOOD NEWS!!HEY BUCKET THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP YOU'VE BEEN GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mike theres only one suggestion any one can make when looking to lift an 88 and thats to go to the Exultant Grand Poobah of dakotas http://www.Walt-n-Ingrid.Com,as for the 3" bodylift not being made anymore,all of us that got it already dodged the bullet i guess,now its only a 2" from now on.
