I have a 2001 dakota slt. What is the biggest size tire i can fit on my 16" rims? I am needing some new tires, but I want to go bigger.

31's stock, torsion bars turned up, 32's, body lift 33's, body lift and torsion bars, i know a guy with 35's

With no lift I went with 275/70/R16 Pirelli Scorpion AT. The look great and no rub. The key was the price. about $120 per tire mounted from sears. I really wanted the BFG AT but those were very expensive in comparison.
