Is it consistent with vehicle speed? I'd get your rotors checked out. Mine squeaks all the time no matter what, I've given up looking for it or even caring. As long as my temp and oil pressure are good, I just keep on truckin.

How deep can that pond possibly be?

Could also be a u-joint going bad. More than 30mhp you may not hear it.

A bad wheel bearing in the hub can do that also.

Had the same symptoms on mine and it turned out to be sway bar bushings. The only way to check is to spray those suckers down with a lubricant and see if it goes away. It is a very common problem.

Mine squeaked for a couple of years like that (at low speed) I found the problem when I changed my rotors a few weeks ago: the retainer spring on the outside of the caliper was touching the rotor hub just barely, at the central rivet holding the two spring pieces together. You could clearly see the rub mark around the hub. The new rotors had that area machined away slightly for improved clearance, leaving a visible step on the circumference of the rotor hub surface.

Good luck!
