No offence but I hope your going to do something with those step bars. Otherwise looks good.

mooy19 bl's are easy. Abott a 6-9 hour install time based on your wrenching abilities.

The lift took a weekend. It was my first lift. Did it alone with a simple floor jack and a Big block of wood. Everything fit with lots of slack. Rubber hose to gas tank was tight, because I did'nt want to extend the hose. But it's working well. You can see from my during Pic that you just lift one side of the cab then the other side then same thing to the bed. IT was kindof fun. Yeah, I know my nerfs are'nt great, Blew my budget on simultaneous wheels tires and lift. Do you think they are too short, too low, or both. I'm going to do something about all those holes in the frame too. Not sure gap guards will cover those. Thinking of rubber plugs or perhaps just running sheet metal over it. Any input?

dakliftr,or anyone else who has the 3" PA, Did you end up cutting your lower fan shroud?? looking aound the forums some do and some don't? I have started the breakdown, bumpers, and fan area. I am very fresh with this sort of thing so i'll probably have lots of questions.
This question may be really dumb, but instructions don't say anything about the plastic clips holding the wheelwell plastic in,(and other places) is there a way to get them out without ruining them or do you cut them out and get replacments???sorry very fresh!!!

I did have to trim the bottom shroud as well as very little of the upper shroud. I was able to save the slots that the upper shroud fit into so it would all be secure. The wheelwell plastic raises with the cab and I did'nt do a thing to it. The only real problem I had was the shifter. (5 speed) I had to extend the shifter and trim the plastic inside the shift boot nearest the seat for clearance. (Would'nt shift into 2'nd and 4th.) I think I'll take the shifter back out and add a very slight bend towards the dash in the extension. One thing I would have done differently is to take the shifter out before the lift.

One other problem I had was my wife drove the truck immediately before the lift. I don't really have a problem with that except that she filled it with gas on Friday afternoon and drove straight home so the tank was FULL. I would try to do the lift with a half or three quarters tank if I had a choice. While working with the filler neck some fuel leaked out and scared me little. (I was underneath the filler neck at the time)

Looking good mooy19, The hard part is over. The front bumper brackets are a little odd to figure out. Your truck will look great! I like the quad cabs (Jealous). The bed is easy. I did it without a jack and I have a 6.5ft bed.

Dakliftr and whoever else has or is installing a body lift, and you have to cut your fan shroud, i found it real easy to use a dremel tool while everything is still in the truck. (no draining coolant, no taking off any fans.) worked great! I got my lift finished yesterday and today I am getting the tires and wheel allignment at my buddies shop. Thanks to these forums and everybody on them that answered questions for me. I was pretty tenative going ahead and doing it myself but is was pretty straight forward....and now i'm loving my truck even more!thanks, i'll post pics soon

my name is mark and i just installed my body lift two weeks ago on my 2002 dakota club acab 4x4
i also cranked up my torsion bars to the max and then aligned the truck. i was able to fit 315/75/16s on my stock wheels. they are equivalent to 35x12.50. they do rub on the frame alittle during hard turns so i am trying to figure out how to extend my steering stops

123BUSTER, what size engine do you have? If it's not the big v8 do you find turning those 35's takes away alot of power? Also get some pics so we can see.
