Added a Explorer Procomp stabalizer to help with the bump steer. my truck does alright on the pavement but alittle too much play in the wheel. it does much better offroad. in the snow and mud it does great. the shop did a decent job on the project. next thing i invest in is 35's and im still working some steering issues. but it performs good, doing a trail this sunday with a bunch of people should be fun

The shop just did a decent job huh? What was there that you had thoughts or concerns about? Anything specific?

How is the ride, much harsher than before or about the same as the IFS?

Well i had some issues with the steering, but they fixed that. also had some issues with the little odds and ends. Had a few bolts come off when i drove it home the 1st day, and that was just driving on pavement. also the knuckle in the steering box i think it was, well something was slipping on and off. had some steering collum issues, along with speedo problems. for about the 1st week and 1/2 i had no speedo till they got that corrected. the ride is ok on the road. not as good as the ifs...but it is great on the trails...truck feels right at home on the dirt and rocks. my truck is not my everyday driver anymore either, but i planned that anyways due to gas prices. The main problem they had with the speedo was the vss was on the rear axle and plugged in on the transfer. well there was no new sensor, so they put in a part from a older dakota and i think it takes it off the yoke or drive shaft not sure exactly. check out the post on off-road /suspension i have some trail pics on there. i was able to finally try my truck out on sunday 17th. it flexed awesome! i have a few links there too. The shop fixed everything in good faith. i think this was their 1st build up on a dakota, i wouldnt think anyone would have the same problems that i encourtered. everything seems solid now. you can check out my gallery too on offroadworld.com or check my profile for the link too.
