Thanks Silva8- email to gjoyce_@excite.com
(note the underscore _ )

I called yesterday, and my lift has shipped! woo-hoo!
The hold up was the wheels and tires, not the lift. I had ordered a set of rims that the sales rep said he had in stock. He told me my order would ship that day. A week later, I've got no wheels/tires/lift, so I call and find out that they really didn't have those in stock (or the ones in stk where damamged somehow) and that they were backordered for another 2 weeks. After some negotiations, I was able to get a better wheel shipped earlier, for the same price. I'm hopin they may be on the driveway this afternoon, but as long as its all there by this weekend... :)
The guys at 4wheelparts have been pretty helpful, but I wish I'd been notified of the 'backorder'. That was kind of inconsiderate.. but I'm not bitter. Just want my lift!
jdb9920 - check out EVGUY's post and website for info on building your own lift. He's done it and seems pretty knowledgable.
Thanks!
Gary

Silva8 -
I would also like those specs if possible.
I have the 3" PA lift and the only thing I used a welder for was to slighly bend the 4x4 shifter toward the passenger side by about 1/2" to allow it to clear the plastic molding of the cover.
Other than that I used everything as it was and it was ok.

And for you guys that want the specs, I'll start measuring everything tonight and I'll post it all ASAP!

Ok here is what I have:

The blocks for the front 6 locations of the cab and the front 6 of the bed are 3" dia and 3" tall.
The last two mounting points in the back of the bed use a smaller block that is 2" in dia and 3" tall.

For the front bumber brackets, they are roughly 7"x4" 1/4" steel plates that are bent at both ends so that the middle section is 3" tall.
The bent ends have two horizontal slots in them for mounting the new bolts to the bumper.

The other brackets it came with for the left and right outer mounting points were kind of a joke, so I'll leave that to you to design.

The fan shroud relocation brackets are roughly 4"x3/4" 1/8" steel with a slight bend up and then back level to lower the fan shroud 3" and bring it out away from the radiator about 3/8"-1/2" for clearing the lower radiator support beam.
This bracket had a stud on one end of it for the shroud to bolt onto.

It also came with bed overload tubes that are 2"x3"x1" 1/4" steel.

The hardware list required as per this kit is as follows:

QUANTITY DESCRIPTION
12 - 3" larger spacers
2 - 3" small spacers
6 - 12mmx160mm cab bolts
8 - 10mmx100mm bed bolts
6 - 1/2" SAE small washers
8 - 3/8" USS large washers
20 - 7/16" USS large washers
2 - inside bumper brackets
2 - outside bumper brackets
2 - 7/16"x1" bolts
6 - 7/16"x1 1/2" bolts
4 - 7/16" SAE small washers
8 - 7/16" nylock nuts
4 - fan shroud brackets
1 - L shaped fan shroud bracket for auto tranny
2 - 1/4"x1" bolt
7 - 1/4" washers
5 - 1/4" nylock nuts
3 or more - cable ties
4 - bed overload tubes
1 - steering extension (4WD is splined, 2WD is not)
1 - 3/8"x1 1/4" socket head steering extension bolt

All critical mounting hardware was grade 8.8

If you have any other questions or need detailed drawings of anything, let me know and I can email you my CAD drawings ;)
