Message: yeah, it has a extender included in the PA body lift. the extension is 3 inches which is usually a little short and you can't get into 4 low. i put a 3 and a half on mine and it works perfect. by the way you'll find a lot more on this subject if you do a search for it at the top of this page, it has been discussed a lot that's how i knew what to do.
Message: There is usually a small screw-on extension for the transfer case shifter. If you have an automatic transmission, you may even have to add an extension to that linkage as well. My 3” Trailmaster body kit required me to cut that linkage and spot-weld a small extension in the middle. You may want to have a bit of rubber hose on hand. When I did mine, there was enough slack in the brake & tranny cooler lines and gas fill hose to raise the body without extending them, however 2 days later I blew a tranny line that was stretched a little too much. I also discovered years later that the big dent on the side of my bed in the area of the gas fill was caused more by the short fill hose rather than whatever it was bumped against. I loosened the hose while pulling the gas take one day and the dent suddenly popped out. When I reinstalled the tank, I replaced the filler hose with a longer one.
