So i sent an email to truckinsuspension, or chassitech or watever. I asked them if their lift kits will work with stock rims and tires, the response i got was that yes it would. Of course this is appealing to me but before i make any decision i want to hear what all you have to say. Good and bad i m sure, but i want to hear it all, i just want a lift that uses stock rims cuz i dont have all the money. All opinions welcome. help thanx

I put a Fabtech 3" suspension and a 3" body lift on my 1997 dakota club cab 2wd and I wanted to keep my stock rims, but the backspacing would not allow it so I had to buy 15x10 american eagles and put some 32x11.5 BFG AT's on it. Sorry man, I didn't want to spend the money either.

how much was it for those rims + tires? yea, kinda sux not being able to keep stock stuff. Also how did the ride change? Firmer and so forth?

if you are short on money i have AR 676 black rims. 100$ for all four and center caps. the backspacing is 4.5 instead of 5.5 like the stocks so you should be good to go.

If you want the 589's I will sell them to you for $200 plus shipping and the cost to take the tires off of them I have five one without tire. I think it $10 per tire so for $240 plus shipping from california I will sell you the 589 that go with the fabtech lift.

Keep your stock wheels and buy my wheel spacers!
120 bucks plus a few dollars for shipping comes with 12 lugs to hold on the spacers. Can upload pics if needed.

Forgot to add that these are 2" wheel spacers so it will bring your backspacing to the correct backspacing needed for the lift. I ran these on my 3" Fabtech Dak before she was sold.

You need wheels w/ max 4 5/8" B.S.
or stock wheels 6 on 4.5 with 2" wheel spacers which I have. It's up to you what you want. Black wheels, silver 589's or stock wheels with 2" spacers.

Sorry, I mistyped the above 4 5/8's is streching it that's why they say the stock wheels will not work unless you get spacers to elimate some of the oe backspacing. Your best bet is either the AE589's from RiverManiac or my 2" wheel spacers with your stock wheels. You could buy those black rims but you'd want to get wheel spacers.

look to the right, yes the black rims will work. they meet the requirement by 1/8 inch (ie they say 4 5/8 and the bs on the black rims is 4 4/8

alright, so black rims=100 bux plus shipping (i am in az right now but usually am in socal)
589s are 240 plus shippin from ca
spacers=120 bux + shippin
