Subject: Problems with 4 Low IP: Logged
Message: My 96 4x4 V6 Extended Cab has a 2" body lift on her, with 16" wheels from an 03 and 32" All Terrains. Only slight trimming was needed to fit these, although I opted for a skinnier tire.
I now have problems getting the truck into 4 low as my lever won't extend past the floorboard because of the lift. My options are to cut out a path or extend the lever, I have already heated it and bent it but I couldn't do that without causing other problems.
Does anyone know the best route to take? Also if anyone has put in a suspension lift for this model, what is the best way/brand to go?
Pls. reply to mmelissen@hotmail.com

Message: i know this sucks but you should extend the lever. many people have had this problem, for some reason the aftermarket piece they give you is like 1/2 inch too short.
