Message: I know it's been asked a million times but I have an extremly slow dial-up connection here to do a search.
I'm wondering if anyone is truly happy with their lift, not having continuing problems with allignement, etc... I have '98, 4wd, 3.9, x-cab that I want to lift. trying to decide whether to go with a 3"susp lift + 3" body lift, or go with just a larger susp lift. Also, which brand seems to be the best at this time? I'm leaning toward Rancho from what I've read on here. thanks

Message: i have the exact same truck and i had the 3" rancho with the 3" body lift and 33's and didn't have any problems with it just make sure your body lift comes with the steering extension. i learned the hard way that it will wreck steering boxes otherwise. i since have gone straight axle and 38's

Message: Thanks bruizer28,
38s! That's alot of wheel for our little trucks! I'm sure it looks great though. Is the steering extension you mentioned the intermediate steering shaft? If so, mine needs replaced anyway as it's getting some play.
