Can anyone help? I recently purchased a 1998 Dakota Ext Cab 4 X 4, and am thinking of putting on a body lift. If I go with a Performance Accessories 3" lift, and put on 33" BFG tires - will I run into many problems? Such as rubbing, or will I need to do an alignment etc? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Clueless

Do you want to run 33x10.50 or 33x12.50?

I want to run 33X12.50's on one wheel and 33X10.50's on another wheel, and keep the two up front stock.

DAKMAN the reply posted 1/15/2005 @ 11:54:55 wasn't my response, just someone with appearently nothing better to do. To answer your question, I was thinking of 33X10.50's.

I have that exact combo you want on my 99. check out this link. I also have 4.10 gears installed which are great for towing. HWY driving my RPMs are at 2200 at 70mph. If you have 3:92 stock gears those 33 BFG A/T will be perfect but they are not true 33s... closer to 32s. I've hacked, used a sledge hammer, and grinded the inner frame and fendor flares close to the door and my tires still rub when I turn sharp while I'm on a sloap or driving over something. I just take it slow. I definitly cannot off road with this set up. I love the way it looks though and I've gotten several compliments so far. Well worth it in my opinon pluse cornering is way better with the wider stance. You won't believe how much better it feels in corners. The BFG A/T work great on this truck and in the rain. Good luck buddy.
