Subject: tire correction?
IP: Logged

Message:
In a few months I'm going to lift my dakota and put 33-12.5's. It has a 4.7 with 3.55 gearing. I've tried to look up threads on this topic instead of creating a new one, but couldn't find what I wanted to know. My question is - if the power robbed by the bigger tires was killing the transmission, would a reprogrammer improve power by holding shift points in a higher RPM to make up for the bigger tires with stock gearing. If so which programmer do I need to purchase. Any experiences?
