What is the largest tire size i can get under a 6.5" lift on my 1999 durango SLT 4x4....since durango's carry almost exactly the same characteristics as dakota's. Also, what are all the companies that make lifts for a durango and what are some problems with putting on such a large lift?

Dillon it seems you've revved up an old post from 04 but thats cool, your 93 might fit 32sx11.5 with a two inch bl but you might stick with a street tread,are you 4x4 or no?

Troy,
31 x 10.5 on the stock 15" rims will work fine...maybe a slight rub on the frame when fully turned, but only enough to wear a shiny spot, no noise or damage.
Possibly a 32 x 11.5, again on the stock wheel (or at least same dimension wheel) but you may experience a bit of bub at the rearr of the wheel opening when off road? with a 2" body lift they 'should' clear just fine.

ive got a 96 dakota,3.9V6 4 wheel drive, sits on 31/10.50/15''s(all terrains) with little rubbage. a 31 inch mud terrain probabilly wouldnt work on it. anyone know the rim sizes for my year? 15 inch, 6 lug, whats the width? lookin for some rims.

A 10" to 12.5 " wide tire will fit comfortably on your 8" wide wheel, but without knowing how much back spacing the wheel has it's hard to say what size (diameter) tire would fit in the wheel well with out some rubbing on the frame or lower rear area of the wheel opening of the fender.

Same things apply:
2 or 4 WD?
Stock Wheels or aftermarket?
If aftermarket, what is the backspacing?
If I make the assumptions that it is 4WD, you are using the stock wheels and they are a 16" rim that is 7"s wide, then I would say a P285/70/16 which equates to about a 32x11/16. If you are concerned that may rub then drop it 10mm to a 275/70/16 which equates to about 31x10.5/16. Remember, just because it says it on the tire, it is not always the 'exact' measurement. It can be larger or smaller depending on the mfg. Good luck.
