I know this question has probably been asked a 1000 times but i'm a newbie so i'm going to apologize if you see this question all the times. I have a 2001 dakota QC 4x4 and i want to lift it 3-4 inches (suspenion lift) so that i can fit 33's on it without having to trim much. Is that possible and who makes the lift and any idea of price?? also will the stock wheels work or will i need to switch wheels?? If there is any more information i should know i would be glad to hear it. thanks for all your help.

I'm not sure if this was written somewhere else but I called Rancho and the kit for 2000-2003 will not fit trucks with OEM 15x8 rims unless you switch to a 16 inch rim. This is because they supply a new steering knuckle arm. The 99 model kits lower the upper control arm. The guys at 4wheelparts.com did not know this and told me the 2000 kit would fit with 15 inch rims. This was kind of disturbing because i had just purchased new 15 rims and tires. Guess Ill have to settle with the PA 3 inch body lift.

Hey, I have a 2001 QC also. About a year ago I installed a 3" PA body lift with some friends on the notion that I would install bigger tires.

I still would LIKE to install a suspension lift at some point, but the body lift was much more affordable and easier to install myself in 1 day.

For what you (and I) want to do with our rigs, and how much we wanted to spend, there's no shame in a BL.

I have a 2001 QC 4x4 with a 3" Rancho suspension lift and have the stock 16x8 rims with 285/75-16 tires (about 33" tall). No rubbing.

Will send pix if interested, although pix are deceiving since they never provide a common reference.
