Message: Blizz or Hawkeye, for now I'm going to stay at the stock height. I'm getting ready to order my tires & wheels, and I'm planning on going with 31/11.50 M/T radial claws or radial mtx's. Are you guys having any rubbing on the frames issues with the width tires your running?

Message: Not on the frame ... just the inside corner of the front bumper for me. It might not even be rubbing there since I tweaked the torsion bars a tad this winter. Think I'll put the Mickeys back on this w'end to find out ... now that "spring" is here ... hehehe yeah right. ;o)
You shouldn't have any probs with 11.50's, James ... Hawkeye ran those on his truck b4 the body lift.

I'm having a royal meltdown here right now. I just found out how hard it is to get wheels to fit the dakota bolt pattern. The Atlas and Python as well as most of the other nice patterns from American have been discontinued for the Dak's.

Message: James, I was running 32x11.50's on my truck stock, BUT, that was on the stock 15x7 rims. If you go to 8 inch wide rims, that changes things. Also, if you go with rims with different offset of backspacing, that will change things as well.

Right now I'm just trying to find out what rims are going to fit. There's not a whole lot of choice for aluminum rims, a lot of them have been discontinued. :(

I decided to go with ProComp A/T's on Eagle Alloy 1469's from 4wheel parts, the buy 3 get 1 free tires, and free shipping made the deal too hard to pass up. They should be here in a nother week or so.

Message: Thanking you for what? ruining your truck? F*** the truckin suspensions lift, that lift isn't even made correctly anyways. All they did was take wrong measurements from other lifts for Daks to ruin your truck. Damn, you guys sure look out for each other like perfect lil' sisters...
P.S. you won't be ridin' high in no time, cuz your too much of a pussy to spring for the bigger lift, have fun with those weak little 33's

Also Tom.. Truckin-Suspension didn't screw up my truck Mike Briant of Custom Classic 800-365-6928. Screwed up my truck. The only reason he didn't know crap was because he didn't read or bring the instructions. I figured his main business was working on Chevys so that would be enough pain .. to let him continue working on those small ... eha... I can't even think about it. Fat man is a small truck.
That guy couldn't even do shaved handles on his truck right. BAH! I should have known better..
He didn't measure anything before hand.. and he didn't count the parts.. he didn't BRING THE INSTRUCTIONS! good god if he wasn't such a fat slob I would have though he was Tim Taylor.... But Tims jokes are much better.
you get the idea?
Hurm.. interesting.. Tom.. are you Mike?
If you are.. Thanks for calling the city and asking them to move my truck.. I'm now going to be sending YOU! a bill :-) have a great day.. Oh.. btw it's $100 a day until you finish your work on my truck.. Ahh how I love the legal system.

Message: How did they tow your truck? isn't it in your driveway? I'm no legal expert but I know in california all they can do if some one complains is give you a fine and request that you remove the "junk" from your driveway(obviously it's not junk but that's how the law defines it if it doesn't move for more then three days). I would assume the law is similar across the country.
By law they cannot remove anything from your property without your permission unless they can prove it is hazardous to the neighborhood or they get a legal order from a judge to move it.
The only way they would be able to tow it is if you called because some one was storing a vehicle on your property and if one of your neighbors called the cops and said it was their driveway then you have legal action to take againist them.
