GEE, Tom Thumb Up His A$$ seems to be very interseted in this web site for some reason, I wonder what his(her) motivation could be? If you dont like Dakotas or what else is talked about here, why visit in the first place? I think Thumb might really be Biggie or Sunkist!Oh by the way, I THINK Knobby meant they told him to move his truck ,or be fined so much each day until it is. I dont think they actually towed it, but I could be wrong. Also bj, great pic!

Nope .. city didn't .. I'M going to have it moved to a 4x4 shop. City wants $100 a day... anyway.. read the below.. and please post at the link that I created...

Ok here's a update for all of you guys.. Truckin-Suspension will no longer work with me on this.. Ian just hung up on me saying they want the lift back from me.

I do NOT! recommend working with them at all on anything. Unless you SEE not talk to but SEE there product installed on someone else’s truck and you want the exact same product.

They paid Michael Briant the $500 for the install.... Which if I remember correctly wasn't done correctly or finished for that matter. He left when he cut off the wrong brackets in the rear.

Truckin-Suspension also sent me Black Powercoated Nerf Bars which.. the powder coat is falling off of. The actual bars look good and feel good but the powder coat sucks. I also didn't order Black bars.. I wanted Raw.

Truckin-Suspension will not help me find another installer and they won't pay or help pay to move my truck to a install shop. They also won't pay that install shop or work with them to fix this problem. They got there $1300 and are now running.

If anyone has any questions or comments about this.. please post.. I'd love to hear them... Yes.. even the "I told you so".. just because I want to see EVERYONES comments.

Post over here...

Ok, so you drive a Dak. What year? Tires? Gotta give details there Jr. Woodchuck. Especially if you are going to go around slamming others trucks. Still havent said whats wrong with 33's. I am from the South by the way. Just want to make sure I know EXACTLY what your truck looks like, that way when I see you stuck, I can be sure to drive on by and not stop to help, because we know my little 33's wouldnt stand a chance of being any help.

It didn't sound like he was slamming anyone (in his first post, anyway).

All he said was I told you so. Which, is kind of fitting. There were a few of us, myself included, that WARNED about jumping into some lift project that was not even created yet.

It all started when this company wanted a truck to work on. THEY COULD NOT EVEN GET THEIR OWN TRUCK! With all of the big-name lift companies out there not touching the Dakota, and you want to let a no-name company borrow a truck to "design", "develop", "manufacture", "test" and "install" in a week?

I like all of you guys and do not want to get into a flame war... but geez! What were you thinking?

Common sense isn't that common...

Someone has to try it.. If it's a new company someone has to be first. I knew that I would give them all the information they needed so I wasn't to worried. But then when the installer bailed.. and Truckin-Suspension wouldn't do anything to get a new installer I started to worrie. Then when Truckin-Suspension told me they want there lift back and hung up on me.. I'm really worried. I don't want to be spending the $$ from my pocket on a Tow Truck & Install from a differen't shop just because The original installer didn't know what he was doing and because Truckin-Suspension couldn't send the correct parts. I did my part.. pay my $1295 and they told me they would have it installed by there shop.

LOL RIGHT! why are my hands dirty? Why have I cut my hands.. How did I get spray paint on my clothes? Oh yea.. because I'm trying to finish my install. I had to pay to get this guy to come out and weld back on the parts that the installer cut off.. That cost me some $$. I now have to figure out where to get some new upper Control Arms and Tie-Rod ends Because Michael broke those.

Anyway.. Tom I'm not mad at you I'm just messing with you.

BTW Most lift manufactures use there employees trucks to make the lifts.

You know Knobby, maybe this lift was just not ment to be...all the bad $hit that went down...it's probably better this way...i just hope you can get your truck back into stock condition after all the cutting and welding you did.

Well, all i got to say is get your money back and wait for one of the big wigs to design a lift for us Dakotas.

And if you can't get your money...i say we all take a trip down to truckin and pay them a collective visit, i got a 270 rifle, 3 12 guage shot guns, and a few 30-30's, and that should do the trick.

That is a personal attack on Knobby. Thats calling him a p*ssy. I run 33's on my truck. Thats calling me and everyone else here who does a p*ssy. Thats an personal attack on me. When someone is willing to run their mouth, and then not back it up, not even say what he is driving that makes him so much better, then yeah, I get a little agitated. I'm tired of crap like that.

Thumb, I go off road plenty. I Still have yet to see you say what you really drive, and what your justification is that 33's are no good. Why do you keep avoiding the question?? Put up or shut up. Tell me, are you sharing an IQ with someone? Something tells me that you probably dont even have a truck. You probably wouldnt know what off roading was if you fell in a mud hole face first.

I'VE DONE THAT!!! Pictures somewhere... hole was abit deeper then I expected :( %&$*#)%^^# well.. I did get the strap on the front of my truck though.

Anyway.. I guess Tom Thumb doesn't do much off-roading because MOST of the Jeeps I know run 33's Full Sized trucks run 35's MOSTLY! I've known Jeeps that run 30's that do stuff that people w/ 35's can't.

Alot of wheelin' is up to the drivers knowlage.. as much as anyone hates to admit it. True if you get big enough tires (44's on a jeep) you can roll over just about anything .. including your self.

A straight axle Dak on 39.5 swampers. Ok. I'd like to see it. That would be a nice looking truck. Can you make a post without calling someone a name? From here on out, until I see a pic, I will not be responding to you. I recommend everyone else do the same. Trolls need attention. If this one has a truck thats half as bad as he maes out, let him prove it. If not, he will be nothing more than a minor nuisance without any attention.
