Subject: Coil Spring Spacers, HELP ME!! IP: Logged
Message: hey,
I have a 1993 Dodge Dakota 2WD with Coil Over in the front and I was wondering if any one knows a good place to get Coil Spring spacers? Also, I was wondering if you can put more then one on to make the lift higher, and if that is unsafe? Also, would i just get add a leaf in the back ot make it even? Has anyone used AIM industries too? They say they have a 5" lift for the 2wd. Thank you so much! PLEASE HELP!!

Message: Im personally not a big fan of coil spring spacers. But thats really your perogative. I do not know if you can add spacers on top of one another but it sounds none to safe, and besides lifting the front of a 2wd dakota more than 2 inches will keep you from being able to align it properly, unless you build new upper and lower control arms. Yes an add-a-leaf in the back would make it even, and so would shackles. I havent heard anything about AIM so I cannot help you there.
