 Subject: Body lift

im sure this has been discussed before, but i have an 04 dodge dakota quad cab, and im looking to get a 6 inch lift. i called this shop and they said they could do a 3 inch suspension and a 3 inch body. Anyone have any opinions on how that combination works together? any problems? success stories? thanks for ya help

Are you a 4x4? I have an 03 dakota 4x4 and I am pretty sure no one makes a susp. lift for 03-04 4x4s. Unless you are having it custom built. If so, how much is that going cost? Id be interest in one.

i have a 2x4...i called CST and they gave me this number to so cal super trucks in san bernardino, and they told me bout the 3 inch suspension and 3 inch body, and that it would cost 2100 plus tires and wheels. i didnt really get into the specifics just yet with them, but they could be placing an 02 suspension on it, but im not sure. i did make sure they kne i had an 04 quad cab dakota and that they werent confusing it with the ram.

fabtech makes a 3" lift for 97 to 04 daks and you have pa body lift ..............., doestech also makes a 3" lift .............this is 2wd only

thanks for all the help, i decided to go with a 3" susp with some 31's for now, maybe in the future ill go bigger. for right now ill jus try doing little things to make it better, ill prolly add a roll pan and some other stuff

im going to be using the 02 quad cab lift from fabtech, the place thats installing the lift made some calls and found out that the 02 lift works on the 04, lets hope there werent any misunderstandings...ill be getting it installed monday, ill let u kno how it turns out
