Here is a picture that shows a 3" body lift with 31's on the top and 33's on the bottom. It didn't take me long to get those 33's after putting on the 3" lift. Personally, I didn't think it looked good. Even my wife said it looked funny. But of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

here's a link for some shots of how my dak looks now w/ the 2" coils up front.
i still think 3" will look alright, i could prolly fit 33's but w/ some cutting, but my 31's still have some life on them. so im not gonna sweat it.

I saw your pics and I think the one thing that you have going for you is that you don't have the fender flares. That kinda makes the tires look bigger than they really are. I was really surprised at how much difference a 3" lift makes. I think that 33's might look a little too big (if that's possible), but I think some 32's would look very nice and you could get by without any trimming.

thx for checking out my truck, im going to add the fender flares eventually. but yeah i agree the 32's when the body lift is complete will most likely look the best.I was looking at your mods, looks like you have alot invested... thats awesome, one question, how do you relocate your IAT sensor? ive heard of doing that, just never have seen it done.

Yes, I do have alot invested in both time and money. The IAT sensor relocate is actually quite simple. It's not a bad idea, but just don't expect super results from it. FYI, the following is for a 4.7L and will most likely differ on aother engine sizes

1. The sensor is located on the driver side right behind the #5 plug harness. You'll need a 1/4" threaded plug to put in the hole in the manifold after removing the sensor.

2. Disconnect the wire clip and remove sensor.

3. Drill a 1/2" hole in the driver's side of the plastic air hat and thread the sensor into it. reconnect the wire clip. I used some teflon tape on the threads to make it nice and snug.

If you have different air intake and some extra wire, you can put it wherever you like and the closer to the air filter the better.

It should look something like this when you are done if you have the factory air hat ...
