Subject: 33's for stock 99' IP: Logged
Message: I have a 99' sport 4x4. I plan to lift her soon. My question is whether or not 33's will fit on her now, or will I have to wait until she sits up? I have dead 31" AT's now. Thanx.

Message: I have a 97' extended cab with a 5.2. I intalled 33x10.5 thornbirds on it with just a couple of turns on the torsion bar.No difference in ride realy. They've got big knobbies on the sidewall so they're just about as wide as 12.5's. 33x11.5's in the back. I have seen another dak around town with 33x12.5's on stock with just a little rubbing on the frame at full lock.

Message: Thanks. I just saw a pic of one with 33x10.5x15 on 8" rims with no lift. I didn't think it was possible. I can't post the pic, but you can view it at this website. http://www.geocities.com/cjf7148/tires.html

Message: Yeah, that's it. Can't tell what kind of tires though. AT's? So, I guess it can be done, but only with a little modification?

Message: how do you know they are 33's you can tell that from the picture? i would be very careful because i had 31's on stock rims and stock ride 4x4 and they rubbed the inside frame. i think you should be very careful not just going by this picture because thats a terrible picture it doesnt show you anything.

Message: Well, I don't know about 33's, but I know that there is absolutely no problem with 31's because I have them on my 99 4x4 CC. I have never once had them rub or anything. So I think that you have some suspension problems durango...
