I installed the factory steel skid plates on my 2004 Dakota Quad Cab. Front Diff. and Trans. case. Too bad there is not one for the gas tank. This was the easiest mod ever. Pics at

Any one know where I can get a steel plate to replace the plastic shield at the very front?
I have a 3" BL.

I think this is the number for the gas tank skid #82203839 should cover the entire tank.

Factory gas tank skid plate does not fit quad cab. I read it in the parts book. I was told by someone here that they have a composite/plastic one, but the parts monkey was no help there.
