Subject: Do I need better Shocks? IP: Logged
Message: I added a 3" BL and 33x12.5x16 TrXus STS's to my 2004 Quad Cab. On bumpy/ washboard roads the truck tries to get sideways. It is AWD. Do I need upgraded shocks? If so, what works best?

Message: Do research on Velvet Ride shackles & Rancho 5000 or 9000 shocks. The shackles soak up bumps the springs are too stiff to, without reducing load capacity. The Rancho 9000's are in-cab adjustable with a compressor kit, the 5000's cheaper with auto-variable valving.
