Subject: torsion bar question IP: Logged
Message: hey guys, i finished my body lift the other day and i am going to crank my torsion bars, but i have a few questions before i do it.
How many times do i need to turn the torsion bar bolt to raise the front about 1.5".
And about how much would an alignment cost me.

Message: I had the alignment shop turn my torsion bars and do the alignment at the same time. Cost me $60.00 for both. I don't have a lift YET but it makes a big difference in the look of the truck just by leveling it out with the torsion bars. What type of body lift did you go with?? 2" or 3"?? What size tire did you put under it??

Message: thanks, i have a 3" body lift with 32x10.50 swamper TSL Radials on 15x8 eagle alloy rims, and i have very little rubbing on the front valance and the rear of the fender (mostly cause of the mud flaps, but i am going to take them off and it will give me a little more than a 1/4 inch of space).
thats why i need to turn by bars some, so i don't have to cut too much of my fenders if i have to and i also wanted my truck to be leveled out a little bit too.
