Is it possible to mount a 1250 inch wide tire on my 98 Dak Stock rim? I have a three inch body. Is the 8 inch rim wide enough for the 1250????
Any comments or answers?

I have ran 12.50 on 8" rims for years,it should work fine for you.Today i talked to a guy who runs 285x75x16 on his factory 8" rims.It looked really good.It had no lift just a little trimming that wasnt even noticeable.Bfg AT's on a 2001 model.I think his tires are the same as 33x12.50x16.

| Torsion Bars...Need quick info.

1. Do local mechanics or tire shops, such as NTB crank the torsion bars....or maybe a gas station mechanic? I want to put 33x1250r15 on my American Eagle 589's but they rub like a B*tch!
I was told cranking my torsion bars is a easy way to fit the 33's. I have a 3 inch body lift now, but they still rub.
Anyone have any answers for me? And if you have em, send some pics of torsion bars and an estimate of what i should pay to get them done if i have to.
