Hello

Sorry if this has been gone over in a previous post but I slogged through a bunch of posts and didn't see much so here I am.....

Just wanted too get some replies from people that did the 3" Rancho lift too their 2002 Dakotas. I recently bought a 2002 Club Cab 4x4 and found out that Ranch came out with this 3" lift for it. It sure looks like a good kit and was curious how the installs went and how the pickup handled and road afterwards.

Thanks for the replies!!

Mine's a 2001, but it handles just like it did before the lift.

Well the install has been done by some in there driveways but unless you are ready to use the torch to make the needed changes you should have a shop do it. Crosmembers get cut out and relocated and it is a permenant lift.

RIde is fine on and off road. You can get up to 4" of lift out of it.

If you are only looking for those with a 2002 for replies you might be waiting a while.

Hello

Thanks for the replies, I'm pretty positive I'm going to go through with the lift. I really need the clearance as I do alot of offroading out in the praires of Montana. I would like too do the install myself but the hoist I have in our shop is an old floor hoist that has the two parallel bars for the lift and they are in the way. So I'be been talking too a shop in town that would like too do the lift so will probably go with them.

One last question, after the lift, what did you do with the exhaust pipe that drops down around the front driveshaft? Did you just reroute it back in the same location or did you do something different with it?

Thanks
